I am proud to serve the Wauconda CUSD118 School Board, where I bring a deep commitment to education and community. As a parent with three children at different schools—Charlie, a 5th grader at Robert Crown, Ben, a 6th grader at Matthews, and Alex, a freshman at Wauconda High School—I have a broad, well-rounded view of the district’s needs across all grade levels. My wife, Jennifer, also serves as a dedicated teacher in the district, making our family truly invested in the success of Wauconda’s students.

Before transitioning to the corporate world, I was a teacher. My experience in the classroom and as a coach for various sports helped me understand the unique challenges our students face. Now, with over 15 years of experience in the corporate world, I’ve worked to develop employees, managers, and leaders, bringing a focus on skills that will help our children thrive not only as students but as future adults.

Beyond the classroom, I’m actively involved in various community organizations. In addition to coaching youth football and soccer, I serve on the Wauconda Baseball and Softball Board, and as a Den Leader for Wauconda Pack 90, I help guide the development of character and leadership in our youth. I believe that education extends beyond academics—it’s about nurturing well-rounded, confident individuals ready to contribute to society.

I joined the school board to ensure that every child in our district receives the best possible education and support, with the skills they need to thrive as adults. I’m excited to work alongside our teachers, parents, and community members to build a brighter future for our students.
